    Wallingford Trivia Night @ The Bounty: Five teams, ranging from Wallingford newcomers to lifers, competed for the chance to win gift cards to Wallingford businesses. Team Wally Coyote had an impressive performance at Trivia Night. They really know Wallingford! And, we applauded Team Transplant Sturgeons, made up of four newcomers to Seattle, for hanging in there!

    Members Meeting @ Blue Star Café and Pub: Members gathered for an evening of snacks and discussion about Wallingford Historic District Feasibility Study, sponsored by Historic Wallingford with support from 4Culture.

  • July 19, 2019
    Lecture: Architecture of the Wallingford Bungalow – Thomas Veith, author of “A Preliminary Sketch of Wallingford’s History, 1855-1985” discussed the stylistic elements most often associated with the Wallingford bungalow and how the character of these early 20th century houses developed over time with changing tastes and typological innovation.

    Researching the History of Your Home, an informal, hands-on, computer-based workshop that emphasized free online resources to assist participants in gathering documents and historical records about their home, including when it was built, archival materials, and who lived there in the past. A handout listing the online resources was provided to participants.
